Our work with the underprivileged youth focuses on traing, that tranfers them to well educated and responsible people who have a good chance of later asserting themselves professionally.
They should learn to be considerate and polite with their fellow human beings. They should strive for a good secondary school certificate and experience practical vocational preparation in the existing workshops, which will enable them to continue their education.
Our aim is also to convey values and the commitment to joint activities on the premises of the project.
We are proud of the fact that the majority of our students, after completing their training at Centro Yanachaga, either take up a useful commercial occupation or complete a successful course of study. The frequent visits of alumni to the project or their letters confirm that the Centro Yanachaga has given them valuable help and that their stay there has been well remembered by the alumni.
