The immediate vicinity of the National Park Yanachaga with its almost untouched nature and high biodiversity, the rivers and waterfalls in the area, the “Tyrolean village” Pozuzo on the eastern slopes of the Andes and much more offer attractive attractions for tourists who want to get to know Perú off the beaten track. Prosoya took its first steps towards experience-oriented tourism in this region years ago with the opening of its guest house and restaurant in Yanachaga. Along with other rural hostels and the relevant organisations in Oxapampa, a new tourism concept is currently being developed.
